Update

After reading up today the fire has spread to around 9,300 acres and is still moving to the north.  According to Greg Poncin, the incident commander for the northern rockies type 1 team the fire is at about 17% contained.  With winds projected to be at 40 miles per hour the fire will keep growing.  He says the fire will also continue to move north but they are emphasing on protecting structures.  Mark Goeller, operations section chief, said "its a long drawn-out affair"
