Update 11:50pm

Well the Antelope fire is under-control and was started by accident by a grader who hit a rock and sparked a flame.  The monument fire is 15% contained and has grown to just about 19,500 acres.  Currently working on the fire are 764 personnel, that includes 23 crews, 54 engines and 5 helicopters as well as multiple planes.  The blaze is on the back side of the mountain but with high winds could easily come back to this side.  Crews are putting in some hard work to keep structures safe.  As of today 47 homes were lost between Ash Canyon and Stump Canyon no main structures were lost on the east side of Highway 92.  With high winds coming this weekend lets pray for the safety of all the men and women who are laying their life's on the line.  Also lets pray for the safety of our beautiful community of Sierra Vista, Hereford, and Palominas that many of us call HOME.

P.s. Please show your support at the car wash tomorrow at 8 am at Chili's in Sierra Vista.

As always Stay safe
