Up and at it

Well the crews got a good night sleep last night after a long day but they are up and at it again.  Last night they did a burnt out to try to keep the fire from coming down so hopefully this works.  There is a new evacuation map and I will put the link below so people can be prepared.  Please feel free to write comments .  Lets hope they can keep it out of Miller and Ramsey.

Long day

Well it was a very long and busy day for me trying to keep up with the latest news and help with some stuff thats going to benefit people effected by the fire.  On another note long day for the men and women who are fighting the blaze.  This afternoon the fire did jump 92 and headed down hereford road.  Fry Fire department led by Chief Bill Miller and Sierra Vista fire department led by Chief Randy Redmond started fighting the blaze as soon as it crossed.  They called in many more agenices that included Palominas, Huachuca City, Whestone, San Jose, Benson, along with som ehelicopters and many more.  They started a back burn to try to get ahead of the fire and were very successful at this with the help of 20 engines and 100 plus firefighters.  There were no main structures that were damaged on the east side of highway 92.  My hat goes off to these men and their crews who have put in a very long day and will be back at it again tomorrow.

Signing off for the night
as always stay safe and pass it along.
P.s. if their are errors in spelling sorry it is a little late.

Update

According to Chief Bill Miller with Fry Fire District there is good news.  He says that no main structures on the east side of Highway 92 have been lost this is great news.

Update as of 5:35pm

Fry Fire along with Sierra Vista fire and multiple agencies are trying to contain the blaze that is along Hereford road.  They are currently trying to keep the fire on the south side of Hereford.  Their have been a couple reported spot fires that have crossed over Hereford road but crews are quick to jump on them.  If you take a look out there you will also see helicopters that are trying to assit with keeping the fire on the south side.  Please remember to keep an eye out for safety crews and do not throw cigarette butts and other things out the window.  Our state is already busy enough please do not make these crews work harder than they already are.

Watch for updates

Update

The fire is heading down towards the river but has not crossed Hereford road.  The fire is down towards moson road.  If you live north of hereford be prepared to evacuate but once again the fire has not crossed Hereford road.  The firefighters are doing a great job with this fire and are trying to save as many strutures as possible and peoples lives.  Please pray for the safety of these brave men and women who are trying their best to save this beautiful area.
